The current mathematical calculation in the rulebook is wrong. This was fixed by Robin at Unicon. Gossi, can you help me here?

Yes!
This was also a discussion of the last rulebook. I finally found the document Felix made, with this formula:
n = Number of riders
x = score
D(n, x) = 10(1 - ax/n)
Last rulebook, we found two different calculations one was with a = 1 the other had a = 0.5 (One formula was from Kristen, the other from Haruko). The a = 0.5 is more forgiveable. That's all I have, up for the committee to decide what the value of a should be.

Falls are not equal things, and no formula will make them so. On the contrary, using them as a basis for a formula will tend to magnify the problem of assuming all falls are equal. Or that they fall into equal fixed categories. Please don't count falls and try to use the numbers to create a score.
