Unless there are a lot of comments/discussion here, I'm going to move this proposal to voting in the minimum three days. Please speak up if you think there's an issue here.

Perfect, I just mention it in the Plattform Jump thread and here it is :)

The proposal says "I don't think any more explanation is needed here".
Until now, Jumps were considered as part of Track and Field, right? Not any more? Why?
I'm not a priori against this proposal as there might be very good arguments for it, but I do think more explanation is needed here.

The Jump events live in kind of a different world from the other Track & Field events. Different unicycles, different safety equipment, metal pedals and, clearly a different crowd of people hanging out there. Those events use the same unicycles as Trials, Street and to some degree Flatland, and make more sense to be conducted with or near those events. I also encourage us to try to standardize the safety gear requirements of events needing similar gear.

For the past few years at Unicon and other events, Jumps have been listed in the "urban" category. The only reason they were part of Track & Field in the first place is that high and long jump in athletics are a field event. I don't think that fits within unicycling though.

OK. Makes sense.
